SMS Communications and Mobile Information


When you call Hunter Property Management to inquire about a rental property, our phone system may offer to send the rental application link via SMS to the phone number you are calling from. If you verbally agree during the call, we will send a single SMS message containing the application URL for the specific property you asked about.


  • Information we collect: When you opt in to receive SMS messages, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your verbal consent (including the date, time, and the phone number from which you called).
  • How we use your information: Your mobile phone number is used solely to deliver the rental application link you requested. We do not use it to send marketing or promotional messages.
  • No sharing or selling of mobile information: Hunter Property Management will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent records to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. This includes third-party marketers, lead generators, and data brokers. Mobile information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate our phone and messaging systems (such as our telephony and SMS delivery providers), and only to the extent necessary to deliver the message you requested.
  • Message frequency: You will receive at most one SMS message per property inquiry.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Opting out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from Hunter Property Management at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you.   • Data retention: We retain mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records for as long as needed to operate our property inquiry service and to comply with applicable legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting Hunterpropmgt@gmail.com.

SMS Program Terms


By verbally agreeing to receive an SMS from Hunter Property Management during a phone call, you agree to the following terms.


  • Program description: The Hunter Property Management SMS program delivers rental application links to prospective tenants who request them during inbound phone calls. Messages are transactional and informational only.
  • Message content: Each message contains the rental application URL for the specific property you inquired about during your call. We do not send marketing or promotional content through this program.
  • Message frequency: Recurring messages are not part of this program. You will receive at most one SMS message per property inquiry.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Hunter Property Management does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving messages depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
  • Eligibility: You must be the account holder of the mobile phone number you provide, or have authorization from the account holder, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Opt-out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and will not send further SMS messages unless you opt back in by replying START.

  • Supported carriers: This program is available on most major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Privacy: Information collected as part of this SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.hunterpm.com/privacy-policy. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Changes to these terms: Hunter Property Management may modify these SMS program terms at any time. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
